Project management to design and remodel a five bedroom family home into contemporary, sizable living space of exceptional quality.
The kitchen was extended creating a luxurious family area encompassing a conservatory and dining area. The design included a limestone floor throughout, inspired kitchen designs highlighting the dark zebrano and the light maple with their contrasting colours enhanced by the finest granite surfaces.
The units step in and out to add character to this space and are set off by clever use of the central African zebrano wood skirting and panelling.
The main staircase was designed to continue contrasting the light in the two different woods, with a curved hand rail carved from maple, set on wrought iron spindles offset by elaborate newel caps.
The walls in the entrance hall and up onto the galleried landing are panelled using zebrano and maple. The luminous chandelier over the centre of the stairs highlights the beauty of the natural wood alongside the elegance of the iron work, shining light over this truly opulent family home.
The designs pay great respect to the family’s way of life, allowing the different generations to live comfortably together with separate and luxurious space.
